Q: What is Super Dollar's relationship with Food City?
A: Super Dollar Discount Foods is a store format introduced by K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc., the parent company of Food City. Super Dollar stores offer a uniquely different shopping experience than Food City stores. Super Dollar Discount Food stores are generally smaller in size than the typical conventional supermarket and feature our outstanding line of store brands at super low prices. Both companies are served by Food City Distribution Center, also owned by K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc.
Q: Where are your stores located? How can I find one close to me?
A: We currently operate stores in Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee with plans to expand as opportunities arise. Please use our locations tab at the bottom of the page for in-depth information on each store. If there is no Super Dollar close to you, keep checking back to see if one is being planned for your area.
Q: What kind of products do you sell?
A: The backbone of our stores is the meat and produce departments which offer high quality, fresh products at very competitive prices. We are also very proud of our family of national brand comparable store brands which represent the bulk of the products we sell at Super Dollar Discount Foods. These products include categories such as; household, paper, pet, health and beauty, grocery, frozen, dairy, packaged meat and snacks to name just a few. Chances are if you need it, we've got it.
